By Kathy Melvin, WAVE3.com

MT. EDEN, KY (WAVE) - Barry W. Carman, 54, of Mt. Eden, was found dead this morning after an apparent hunting accident.

According to Kentucky Fish & Wildlife spokesperson Mark Marraccini, Carman was hunting on his own property with a group of friends. When he failed to join the group, they went looking for him and found him on the ground near his tree stand.

Marraccini said it appears that Carman fell from the stand. He said there were no other obvious signs of trauma.

The body has been released to the Spencer County Coroner.
