Lincoln County Search and Rescue volunteers located an injured
hunter in the Harlan/Burnt Woods area east of Eddyville about six
hours after the man’s family reported him missing on Nov. 12.
Donald Lee Hamilton, 52, of Philomath, left his hunting camp at
1:30 that afternoon on an all-terrain vehicle in an unknown
direction of travel and had not returned; friends and family
searched but could not locate him in the areas where they had been
hunting.
