MULLET TOWNSHIP - Authorities say a 34-year-old hunter has died
after accidentally shooting himself in Cheboygan County.
Det. Lt. Timothy Cook tells the Cheboygan Daily Tribune that the
hunter was alone Friday when his gun discharged as he tripped on
brush.
The man's name was not immediately released. Relatives found him
about 200 feet off a road in Mullet Township, just north of
Topinabee.
At least three Michigan hunters have died since the traditional
deer season opened Tuesday.
