A Town of Oconomowoc deer hunter was accidentally shot by another
person in his hunting party Monday morning.
61-year-old Curtis Weide was struck by a shotgun slug in the
upper, left part of his chest. Another member of his hunting party
shot and hit him while they were driving deer near near Highway 67
and County Road CW in Waukesha County.
The injuries Weide suffered were not life threatening. He was
treated and released from Froedtert Hospital. He also told FOX6
News, "it was no big deal."
