Hershel D. Fornshell, 48, died during a hunting accident on
private land in Benton County on Nov. 19.
Fornshell, formerly of Saline County, was climbing down a tree
stand when the trigger of his rifle caught an unknown object and
discharged, according to News Services Coordinator for the Missouri
Department of Conservation Jim Low.
Low said the Missouri Department of Conservation has completed
its investigation of the incident.
