OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- A duck hunter has drowned in Lake Ontario.
It happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Town of Sandy Creek.
State police say Tracey Bango, 43, of Philadelphia, New York was
duck hunting from the shore near Blind Creek Cove. According to
State police, Bango took a kayak out into the water to retrieve a
duck he shot. He apparently fell into the water and drowned.
Bango's body was later recovered by the Oswego County dive team.
