PARIS, N.Y. — Police and fire crews have resumed their search for
a 64-year-old man who hasn't been seen since he went hunting near
his central New York home.
Authorities say Richard Knight left his home in southern Oneida
County around 6 a.m. Wednesday and didn't return. His wife alerted
police when she returned home later that evening and he wasn't
there. A search was started Wednesday night.
The search was halted early Wednesday morning. It resumed a few
hours later.
Law enforcement officers and emergency personnel are searching an
area near the couple's home just south of Utica.
