Rose, Wayne County, N.Y. – A hunter died on Saturday after he
fell from his tree stand.
Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies say David Ternoois, 46, died
after he fell about 21 feet. Ternoois was hunting on Covell Road in
the Town of Rose.
The medical examiner pronounced him dead at the scene.
Ternoois’s death is still under investigation, but authorities
have no reason to believe it’s suspicious.
