SIOUX FALLS, SD - South Dakota authorities have found the missing
Sioux Falls hunter Sunday morning.
Fifty-seven-year-old James Koupal was found dead in Island Lake,
located just west of the McCook County line.
According to the Minnehaha County Sheriff Mike Milstead, Koupal
was duck hunting when his dog fell through the ice and went in to
rescue him.
Saturday night, McCook County authorities asked the Minnehaha
County Sheriff's Department to help with the search after friends
reported Koupal missing. His vehicle was found near a slough in the
Colton area.
