Tully, NY –A 72-year-old man died Sunday while hunting in Tully,
Onondaga County Sheriff’s deputies said.
The family of David Moro, of Syracuse, began looking for him on
Sunday evening when he failed to return from a hunting trip on his
land off Solvay Road near Route 11A, said Sgt. John D’Eredita.
At about 10 p.m. a deputy saw the family searching the fields and
stopped to offer help. Other deputies and a K-9 unit also joined the
search, D’Eredita said.
Moro’s body was located at about 11:30 p.m. about a quarter mile
from where his truck was parked, the sergeant said. It appears he
died of a medical condition, D’Eredita said.
