A man has been taken to the hospital after he was shot during a
controlled deer hunt, where hunters were only allowed to use a bow
and arrow.
The incident happened around 10:30 Monday morning at Oak Mountain
State Park.
Investigators say the man fell out of a tree stand.
A gun inside his pocket went off and the bullet hit him.
The man was taken to UAB hospital.
