JEANERETTE, La. — Authorities are searching St. Mary Parish for a
hunter who was reported missing this week.
Hebert said the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Search and
Rescue Boat, along with Wildlife and Fisheries, U. S. Coast Guard
and Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office were searching for the hunter.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark A. Hebert said Friday in a news
release that 58-year-old Lynn Landry of Jeanerette was reported
missing a day earlier.
His family told authorities they had not seen or heard from
Landry in two days.
Hebert said the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Search and
Rescue Boat, along with Wildlife and Fisheries, U. S. Coast Guard
and Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office were searching for the hunter.
Landry's family said he was going hunting in the Atchafalaya
basin.
