The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation commission is
investigating a Tuesday afternoon hunting accident.
The unidentified hunter called the Gulf County Sheriff's office
he had shot himself in the arm while he was hunting in the Pleasant
Rest Cemetery. He was able to drive himself to Overstreet Road where
he met a Gulf County ambulance.
He was transported to Bay Medical Center, the investigation will
be handled by FWC. The victim's identity and further details of the
mishap were not immediately available.
