The Vinton County Sheriff’s Office says Dempsey’s vehicle and some personal items were found in a camper on hunting property off of Old State Route 50 last week. It is the same area crews have been searching this week.

Sheriff Shawn Justice says that during the search on Wednesday, crews found the remains in the same area of the campsite.
