ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. -- A 15-year-old hunter was accidentally
shot late Tuesday afternoon, according to Anderson County Sheriff’s
Office spokesman Chad McBride.
The accident happened near
Bluefield Road in Starr.
McBride said that the teen's gun
fell and accidentally went off. He said the teen was airlifted to
the hospital in serious condition and underwent surgery.
There was no word on the teen's condition on Wednesday.
The
Department of Natural Resources is investigating the case.
