NC: Hertford, N.C., man killed hunting turkey with his son

A Hertford man was killed early Friday while hunting with his son.
 
Ronald Eric Boyce, 46, of Lake Road in Hertford died from a gunshot wound while turkey hunting off New Hope Road in Perquimans County, said John Beardsley, a North Carolina wildlife enforcement officer.

This is the second fatal turkey hunting accident this year in North Carolina. The other was in Forsyth County.
