The McDuffie County coroner said that the Thomson man who was
found Sunday night with a gunshot wound to the chest died in a
hunting accident.
Rhusha Mack, the coroner, said that Blaine Jenkins, 55, of
Chestnut Drive, was killed in a tragic accident.
Jenkins left his home to check out some wild hog traps set on his
hunting property and did not return.
