The Pennsylvania Game Commission says the hunting related
shooting happened around 3.30 Thursday afternoon September 6th in
Rye Township.
A 26-year-old says he was shot as he scouted
the woods for the upcoming fall hunting season.
“As he
reached a certain area he sat down had his back to a tree and that's
when he had his feet out in front of him and he felt a sharp pin in
his left foot,”
The victim was treated for a single, small
caliber gunshot to the base of his fourth toe on his left foot.
