QUEENSBURY -- A Queensbury man died during a hunting accident in
woods off Bay Road late Tuesday, officials said.
Daniel H.
Bemis, 50, apparently fell from a tree stand and became tangled in a
safety harness he was wearing, which police believe asphyxiated him,
according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
He was
found Tuesday night by a relative who went looking for him when he
did not return from a bowhunting outing several hundred yards behind
his Berry Patch Drive home.
