IA: Iowa hunter hit in face by shotgun pellets

October 29, 2012

From News8000.com

Authorities say Darrell Lamb, 78, he was struck in the face by two shotgun pellets.

The Iowa Natural Resources Department says Lamb was wounded Saturday morning while hunting pheasants in Poweshiek County.

A pheasant flushed between Lamb and three other members of his hunting party. They couldn't see him because of the topography and the height of the vegetation.
