LA: Beauregard man fights for life with deer while hunting

November 9, 2012

From KPLCTV.com

With years of experience under his belt, nothing could have prepared him Chad Hebert his close brush with death on Sunday when he fought a deer while hunting with his young sons.

After tracking the deer, Hebert happened upon a thicket where he obviously wasn't alone.

"He just hopped up and charged me. His antler stuck just below my knee,"

After being hospitalized for two days, Hebert now walks with a noticeable limp and still has scars from his fight.
