SHANNONDALE, Ind. - A hunter from Lebanon is in stable condition
after falling 22 feet from a tree stand, conservation officers said.
Samuel Shepherd, 64, was found at the base of a tree stand in
severe pain late Saturday afternoon near Shannondale.
It's
believed Shepherd lost his grip and fell as he tried to climb down
from the tree stand, conservation officers said.
Shepherd
was last listed in critical condition with internal injuries and
broken bones.
