A man died Monday evening in the Town of Superior when he was
accidentally shot by his deer hunting companion, the Douglas County
Sheriff’s Department reported.
Emergency crews were called
to the area of County Road W and Barnes Road near the
Minnesota-Wisconsin border just after 5 p.m. Monday. Police said the
man died at the scene.
