IN: Hunter Injured In Deer Stand Fall

(Moores Hill, Ind.) - Indiana’s deer firearms hunting season began Saturday, but not without at least one hunter being injured.
 
A man fell from a tree stand while hunting in Dearborn County. The incident was called in Saturday evening about 5:22 p.m. from a home on Watson Road in Moores Hill.
 
The victim, Aaron Watson, 41, of Moores Hill, fell approximately 30 feet from a tree when his stand failed.
