20121211 COUNTY, Iowa — When Christopher Rearick went to shoot a pheasant, he fell. His 12-gauge Benelli shotgun went off, and the shot hit his 18-year-old son Ryan in the back of the head.
 
"I just remember getting hit in the head with something and dropping to the ground and my eyes kind of flashed," Ryan Rearick said.
