TX: Boy, 14, dies in apparent hunting accident

FLORESVILLE -- 14-year-old Lloyd Hayes was shot and killed in a hunting accident at a ranch on C.R. 118 on Sunday, according to a parent at the high school he attended.

Lloyd Hayes was killed in a hunting accident on Sunday, according to a parent from East Central High School, where Hayes attended.

He was a member of the Freshman football team and on Monday, the school held a memorial in his honor. Attendees wore blue, according to the parent.

Members of the East Central volleyball team wore bands around their arms with "LH" inscribed and dedicated their game to Hayes on Tuesday night.
