FOUNTAIN COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A Fountain County deer hunter is airlifted to the hospital after a fall from a tree stand Wednesday afternoon.

It happened around 4:15 p.m. in a wooded area south of Covington.

Justin Raley, 28, of Covington, was hunting in a stand about 20 feet off the ground.  Investigators said the cables designed to hold up the bottom section of the stand rusted through and broke.
