Two Prescott Valley quail hunters suffered multiple injuries when
a rabid adult male bobcat attacked them on Thursday afternoon,
according to the Arizona Game and Fish Department.

"The bobcat was spotted under some
bushes and then ran under the vehicle," said Zen Mocarski,
public information officer with the Game and Fish Region 3 office

attacked, Mocarski said. The second victim suffered less severe
injuries to his arms and legs.
Officials announced Friday
the bobcat tested positive for rabies, and warned people to be
careful in the wild.
