MN: 15-year-old boy shot while duck hunting

SAUK CENTRE – The Stearns County Sheriff’s Department says a 15-year-old boy was shot while duck hunting this (Sunday) afternoon. 

The incident happened at about 3:00 p.m. near the Sauk River in Getty Township. 

The boy was shot by another 15-year-old boy in the same hunting party.

The victim was taken to the CentraCare Hospital in Sauk Centre by family members, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries to his back.
