MT: Still no sign of missing Kalispell hunter

October 23, 2013

From KPAX.com

BIGFORK - The search is continuing for a missing Kalispell hunter outside of Bigfork.

Flathead and North Valley Search and Rescue combed a one mile stretch of the lower Flathead River on Tuesday, using dogs and sonar equipped boats in the search for the 65-year-old man.

"We did determine that the individual had been duck hunting in the kayak - earlier [Monday] morning. Certainly at this point, it's presumed that he's in the water," Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry explained.
