November 14, 2013

From WJON.com

BURTRUM – A Todd County man was shot in the leg by a hunter on Sunday afternoon.

The Sheriff’s Department says Bruce Barthel of rural Burtrum was in his yard by his garage when a group of deer hunters were making a drive and shot at a deer.

Barthel says he heard what appeared to be a slug ricochet off something, and then he was struck in the leg.
