MA: Uxbridge hunter injured in 25-foot fall from tree

UXBRIDGE — The Massachusetts Environmental Police are investigating a hunting accident Nov. 14 in which a local man fell about 25 feet from a tree and suffered serious injuries, according to state officials.
 
James Heywood of Uxbridge fell about 5:30 p.m. Nov. 14 in the woods off Garden Street. He was flown by a Life Flight medical helicopter to UMass Memorial Medical Center — University Campus in Worcester. A hospital spokesman said Mr. Heywood is in fair condition.
