Denmark man hurt in hunting accident
 
A 41-year-old Denmark man suffered an accidental, self-inflicted, gunshot wound to the lower leg Saturday in Kewaunee County.
 
The incident occurred around 9:44 a.m. in the town of Franklin and was described as a hunting accident by the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department.
 
Saturday was the opening day of the gun-deer season in Wisconsin.
