PA: Hunter found dead in Karthaus

KARTHAUS - The opening day of Pennsylvania's two-week deer season resulted in a death locally. Anthony Onufer Jr., 62, of Mechanicsburg, was found dead under his tree stand on the Quehanna Mountain in Karthaus Township last night.
 
Bacher pronounced him dead at 8:30 p.m. His cause of death is still under investigation by the coroner's office and an autopsy is scheduled for today.
