PA: Mill Hall teen deer hunter severely injured in bear attack

MILL HALL, CLINTON COUNTY — A Mill
Hall teen was severely injured during a bear attack while deer
hunting in Porter Township on Monday afternoon.
Marie Bomboy, 18, was hunting deer on her family farm with a large
hunting party. She was part of the “driving” team on a deer hunt
when three black bear cubs ran past her, police said. When she
turned around, a large black bear was charging her.
