MT: Man injured during duck hunt

Missoula man injured during duck hunt near Dillon
 
DILLON, Mont. (AP) - Officials in Beaverhead County say a man on a duck hunt over the weekend was injured when he was hit below the eye with bird shot.
 
Sheriff Jay Hansen says Jason Baker of Missoula shot a duck Saturday afternoon near Dillon. While retrieving the duck, another hunter from the same party shot at a low-flying group of ducks and bird shot hit Baker just below the eye.
 
Baker was treated in the emergency room at Barrett Hospital in Dillon and then taken to Saint Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
