VA: Hunter found dead in Isle of Wight Co.

ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) - A Norfolk man was found dead Friday after an apparent hunting accident.
 
The 61-year-old man was found by a landowner in the area of 12014 Dews Plantation Road. It appears the deer hunter was trying to get to his treestand when the ladder above him broke.
 
Investigators said the man had head and hand injuries.
