May 5, 2014

From MyMoInfo.com

(Reynolds County) A 17-year-old turkey hunter is recovering at Barnes Hospital from serious non-life threatening injuries after being accidentally shot with shotgun pellets in the face and chest by his grandfather while hunting in Reynolds County on Sunday.

A turkey was between the grandfather and grandson. The grandson decided to walk back to the vehicle in order to drive it to his grandfather to pick him up. The grandfather heard the turkey gobble and he fired in the turkey's direction and that's when he shot his grandson.
