Man Shot in Head in Hunting Accident
Greene Co., Ala.
29 December 2003
Andrea Williams
Thirty-one-year-old Daniel Langford from Tuscaloosa was
critically injured after being shot once in the head while on a hunting trip
with two friends.
Investigators say the three were deer hunting in the
northeastern part of Greene County when the shooting occurred.
A preliminary investigation shows that one of the friends
mistakenly thought Langford was a deer.
At last check he was still in critical condition at a
Tuscaloosa hospital.
