NJ Police Officer Falls from Tree Stand while Hunting

Lebanon Township

While hunting deer on Monday (12-2-03) at about 8 AM, Christopher Gurneak, a Lebanon Township police officer, fell abut 15-18 feet to the ground when his tree stand failed, police said.

The township first aid squad took Gurneak, 30, of Lopatcong to Warren Hospital for wrist and back injuries.
