32 ARRESTED FOR BEAR BAITING IN WEST VIRGINIA

On opening day of the bear archery season in West Virginia (Oct. 18),
conservation officers in Kanawha and Boone counties made 32 arrests for
various bear hunting violations. Officers had received a tip from a West
Virginia Bear Hunters Association member concerning illegal bear baiting
sites.
