SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - A federal judge in Sioux Falls fined a Lake Preston
man $1,000 for hunting violations.
Ronald Larsen, 58, will also be on probation for a year and pay $50
to the victim assistance fund, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.
A jury convicted him in November on two counts of illegally selling
wildlife and two counts of false labeling of wildlife. The charges stem
from undercover pheasant hunts in 2001 and 2002.
Larsen runs Dakota Black Goose Inc., a commercial hunting and lodging
business.
