Man charged with illegal hunting

OELWEIN, Iowa An Oelwein man has been arrested for illegally hunting deer.

Forty-two-year-old Richard Roloff was arrested on Wednesday. He is charged with possession of eight illegally taken deer and possession of a firearm by a felon.

If convicted, Roloff faces up to five years in prison on the firearm charge and up to one year in jail and fines of more than 100-thousand dollars on the hunting charge.
