Three police officers among those charged with hunting violations
ATLANTIC, Iowa Six hunters, including three police officers, have
been charged with hunting violations in Cass County in western Iowa.
The violations include pursuing a deer with a motor vehicle and
trespassing.
Harlan police officers Aaron Holtz and Bradley Wendt, and Kent Gries,
a Coon Rapids police officer, were cited.
Three other men -- Ross Burchett, Daniel Grabill and Dustin Hansen,
all of Harlan -- also were charged.
If convicted, they could face up to 30 days in jail and a fine of up
to 650 dollars.
