LOS OLIVOS, Calif.-Four men have been arrested for alleged illegal
hunting on the Sedgwick Reserve in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Although Saturday was the first day of California's deer season for
bow hunters, hunting is banned on the University of California's
5,900-acre reserve, which is used by researchers and educators.
One of the hunters was allegedly dragging a dead deer near the
reserve gate at the time of his arrest on Saturday. A second man was
arrested after driving away from UC Santa Barbara police.
On Sunday, two more hunters were arrested.
The names of those arrested haven't been released..
