GRAND FORKS (AP) - A Grand Forks man with a history of hunting
violations has been sentenced for unlawfully taking a big game animal on
the last day of North Dakota's 2007-08 archery deer season.
Ian Noack was sentenced to 30 days in jail, to be served at the same
time as his sentence for two other hunting violations that occurred
during the opening weekend of North Dakota's 2006 firearms deer season.
Noack was ordered to pay more than $1,000 in fines and court costs
for the 2006 violations and sentenced to serve 30 days in jail. He also
lost his hunting privileges for two years.
