2008 hunting violations up slightly
Official: Most hunters obeyed regulations

From Dec. 1-7, the state's weeklong period allotted for thinning Ohio's deer herd by gun, 15 people were charged with 16 misdemeanor hunting violations. In 2007, 13 people were cited for 15 offenses, municipal court data shows.
