Man hunting in closed area tracked down by K-9s

EGLIN A.F.B. -- A man hunting in a closed area of Eglin Air Force Base was tracked for half mile by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers, according to the FWC's weekly report. The officers noticed a car parked along Range Road 507, which borders a closed area. The hunter later left the closed area and tried to leave in his vehicle, before being stopped by an officer. Two K-9 officers helped to track the man, who went back into the closed area. He later said he knew the area was closed to hunting and he was cite. Return to Violations Index
