Deadly hunting accident trial underway
Monroe County man could get 4 years in prison

TOWN OF ALMOND, N.Y. (WIVB) - The trial for a man accused in a deadly hunting accident is now underway in Allegany County. 38 year old John Gisel of Monroe County is accused of shooting fellow hunter Brandon Haugh last December in the Allegany County Town of Almond.

Haugh's family members were in court for the start of the trial. Gisel is charged with criminally negligent homicide. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison.
