At least 15 accused of turkey hunting violations

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries agents
have accused at least 15 men of breaking turkey hunting rules in the
season's first two weeks.
Five were cited for hunting over baited areas in southwest
Louisiana. 1 of them also was cited for marijuana possession and
another for using an electronic call.
Ten were cited in central Louisiana - four for hunting over
baited areas, three for hunting turkeys without tags; one for
failure to tag a turkey; one for hunting on a restricted area of a
wildlife management area; and one with using a tag on someone else's
turkey.
One man was cited in Rapides Parish for hunting turkey without
proper licenses, without tags, in a closed area and with violating
wildlife management area rules and regulations.
